The meeting will begin Wednesday morning with a workshop on desmoid tumors arranged by SSG together with EURACAN. The participants will get the opportunity to hear about the various diagnostic and therapeutic challenges of this disease and discuss some difficult cases.
The nurses- and physiotherapists program will focus on next generation communication and holistic approach in managing sarcoma patients. Many of the sessions will be joint sessions between physicians, scientists, nurses and physiotherapists. A collaboration between these groups is important for the development of new treatment strategies for sarcoma patients.
